PURPOSE:

Human Resource Development is radically changing. HRD departments are now expected to view development from a performance rather than a training perspective. A performance improvement process is now replacing the traditional training function. Training is only one possible intervention when there are performance issues. To adopt this new role HRD managers are becoming “internal consultants” to meet the business, behavior change and performance needs of a company. This workshop enables a HRD manager make the transition to be accepted as “Development Coaches”. It provides the tools, techniques and strategies to improve organisational performance. These include a range of competencies to diagnose and link performance improvements to business and departmental goals.

This programme is designed for HR managers, senior training officers and professional consultants and senior line managers. It provides a secure environment to practice and successfully adopt the methods, skills and disciplines of the coaching process.
